Who owns POP Telecom?
Founded in 2009, POP Telecom is currently owned by Narrative Entertainment UK Limited. This company also owns POP, a free-to-air children's TV channel.
POP Telecom focuses on delivering fast, affordable internet access, as well as reliable solutions for phones - including separate mobile and landline packages. This means you only ever pay for the services you want and don’t get tied into any unwanted extras during your contract.
As with many broadband providers right now, POP Telecom can deliver gigabit-capable speeds if the infrastructure is there. They also support older-style ADSL connections (nearly phased out in the UK as of June 2025) and hybrid fibre.
POP Telecom broadband packages
POP Telecom offers broadband packages with the following contract lengths:
- 24 months
- 18 months
- 12 months
- 1-month rolling (on selected calls and broadband plans)
They also offer ‘Assurances’, which help protect against:
- Repair charges from Openreach
- Broken broadband routers
The type of Assurance(s) you get will depend on your chosen broadband package.
POP Telecom provides customers with a new WiFi router as standard, and full fibre broadband customers get symmetrical upload and download speeds.
They also offer streaming via a digital TV package, which is supplied through Netgem. This service has a minimum contract length of 18 months.

Deals are available at a wide variety of speeds. What you can actually get for your home will depend whether or not the full fibre rollout has reached your area. A full fibre connection gives you access to the higher speed categories. Here are some of the full fibre packages available from POP Telecom as of June 2025.

POP Telecom broadband costs

- 38 POP: £28/month

POP Telecom phone services
The cheapest landline deal on the POP Telecom website as of June 2025 is £15.99 a month. That's only available if you're still on the older-style network of copper phone lines.
The UK is in the process of shifting to digital landlines. If you already have a digital home phone, you can get a contract for £22.99 a month.
Both types of POP Telecom phone deal are 24-month contracts.
POP Telecom also offer mobile phone contracts. They focus on SIM-only deals (which they call SIM Free). According to the POP Telecom website, deals range from £12.99 a month for 500MB to £29.99 a month for unlimited data. All SIM only deals with POP Telecom are 24 months and 5G-compatible.
